With a trip planned to meet up
with April and Faith Hitch to pick up a couple of milkers, April offered
us this doe kid. Holly was injured when she got her foot caught in a
manager and broke the ankle. April's vet refused to set it so it is
unknown what this little doe's future will be as far as the show ring.
Our vet splinted it when we got her home and only time will tell.
Holly is an incredibly long, level doeling with a lot of presence....she
stands on very correct feet and legs (except for the injury). I like
everything about this kid and she certainly has a lovely, showy dam and
an outstanding granddam in Harper and GCH Heidi. Lots of great names
behind this little girl and we shall give her time to see what will
develop.
Holly will be a dry yearling for 2025.
