| Maia was my favorite of
all the 2007 kids this year. She was the "baby"--born nearly a month after everyone else so she became "special." Not
wanting
to leave her home alone, we started taking her to all the shows. Then my
grandson found out that she was the easiest of all the kids to lead and
she ate up the attention. She was shown 3X going 2X 2nd against much older kids. Maia excels in General appearance being very correct over the topline, smoothly blending through the shoulders and standing on outstanding feet and legs. She is a powerful doe with tons of body capacity and spring of rib. She also excels in breed character with a really lovely, correct LaMancha head. Maia's dam, Marina, is one of my favorite does and was GCH of the District 4 specialty show in 2006 and 2007. She appraised 91 with VEEE. Maia's older 1/2 sister, Prue, appraised 87 as a first freshening two year old. Maia was shown twice this year and was 2X 2nd. She will be bred to Wildfire for January kids. 1st doe will be retained.
