When we purchased Shoof in
December 2023 we knew she had been AI bred to 2 different bucks and knew
there was a chance she had settled to Monsoon but Laurie felt it was a
slim chance so we were thrilled when the DNA came back on Tempest and
her brother, Quake, that they actually WERE Monsoon kids...not bad for
one straw of very old semen!!
Tempest was our last kid born so she is very immature. She excels in
general appearance being long and level over her topline, smoothly
blended through her shoulders and stands on outstanding feet and legs.
We also see very nice width of chest and width of escutcheon. While we
appreciate the width and correctness of mammary in her dam, we would
like to see smaller teats and more width through her hips.
Tempest will be a dry yearling for 2025. |
