When we purchased Feisty's
dam, Envy, in the fall of 2023 she was already bred to Skywatch
and we had all kinds of hopes and dreams for her for 2024. She was just
a stunning doe and we couldn't wait to get her into the show ring. Alas,
the best laid plans and all. Envy went into labor with 2 big bucks, both
badly misplaced. Despite our best efforts, prayers and pleas, she
did not survive the kidding. What we were left with was this very
correct and showy buck kid...something to carry on Envy's beautiful
type.
Feisty is tall, long and especially deep bodied for his age. He exhibits
a lot of dairy strength, is smoothly blended in his shoulders and stands
on extremely correct feet and legs. His dam, Skywatch, has some lovely
daughters in the Shady Lawn herd. His pedigree is packed with some very
successful udder bucks including Tsunami and Bold & Beautiful.
We have some great plans for this young buck and hope he can produce a
daughter with the same beauty as his dam. |
