When Crossfit presented Sharla
with twin does in December, Michael immediately claimed Stardust. She is
an unusual smoky two-tone chamoisee color that clipped up nearly white.
Stardust is long, tall and leggy...we definitely see the 25% Alpine
influence in this kid. She is very level over her topline and deep and
wide in her barrel. During show season she was still a bit in her gawky
stage with her long legs but has since started to mature and grow into
herself. Her dam appraised 87 GEVV as a 3 year old and is one of our
heaviest producers. This kid has an amazing pedigree!
Stardust was 1X 1st Senior Kid
and 1X GCH Jr.Doe at the Mid-MN Classic. Only shown on day one she was
pulled the following day.
Stardust didn't disappoint
when she freshened. She developed into a strong general appearance doe
with body capacity to spare!! She is incredibly smooth and showy and
really shows herself off when in the show ring. She also has a lovely,
well attached mammary with a long, smooth fore and a lovely rear arch.
One judge commented that this doe will a fun doe to show in the upcoming
years! She was 2X 1st and 2X 2nd (to littermate sister, Dancer) at the
Mid-MN Classic. This doe is also no slouch in the milk pail peaking at
14# as a first freshening yearling!!
Stardust will be bred to Chessie for February
kids. $500. Kids will be Experimental. |
