Storm was a highly anticipated
kid. Rue has not been generous with her doe kids in the last few years
and James was thrilled when Storm was born. This kid is going to take
time to fill out and mature. She is very gangly and awkward but all the
basics are there...she just needs to grow up a bit. Storm also had
a hard time with the Canadian wildfire smoke this summer and it has set
her back a bit.
Storm excels in general appearance much like her dam. She has a
beautiful, level topline and extremely smoothly blended shoulders. She
was shown at the Mid-MN Classic and was 2X 1st place Intermediate kid in
a very large competitive class. Judges seem to either love this kid or
hate her!
Storm continues to be a powerful young doe. Again we noticed that judges
either love or hate her. She is very high-withered with a ton of width
and body capacity. She stands on very correct feet and legs. I would
like to see a bit more dairy strength in this doe.
Storm will be bred to
Clarence for February kids. We feel this
cross will help improve her overall height and dairyness. $400.
